Webcomics

Penny Arcade - the wildly popular videogaming webcomic with foul mouths and good times. Known to inadvertently cause server crashes on less popular sites simply by linking to them in their news posts.
Mac Hall Comics - vaguely related to videogames, but still funny and artfully drawn.
VG Cats - another videogames comic, also funny and well drawn. ahahaha.
Beaver and Steve - a reasonable beaver and a moronic small dinosaur go on madcap adventures.
Homestar Runner - not really a webcomic, but an ongoing series of flash cartoons. The Strong Bad emails are particularly hilarious.

Art and Artists

2draw - an online drawing community I frequent. Leaps and bounds above most oekaki sites. Each member has their own personal gallery there.
Drawn! - a general illustration blog with consistently cool links.
CGTalk Forums - the forums of CGSociety, an organization for computer graphics artists. Be sure to check out their Choice Galleries; the stuff in there is just jaw-droppingly good.

Wikipedia - an utterly invaluable resource. The world's foremost free online encyclopedia, having entries on just about everything you could think of and still growing.
Netflix - automated online DVD rental. You can't say you really love watching movies unless you have Netflix.
